Civil Society Thathri, under the banner of the Dangal Organizing Committee, is set to organize the "Aman Aur Ekta Dangal" on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Evergreen Drabar Galli (Jangalwar), Tehsil Phagsoo. The event will bring together traditional wrestlers (Pahalwans) from across the Chenab Valley, including Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban districts.
Celebrating Tradition, Unity and Sportsmanship
The Aman Aur Ekta Dangal is being organized with the objective of promoting traditional wrestling, encouraging youth participation in sports, and strengthening communal harmony across the Chenab Valley. The event seeks to revive and preserve the rich wrestling heritage of the region while providing a healthy platform for young athletes to showcase their talent.
Civil Society Thathri believes that sports serve as a powerful tool for social cohesion and youth development. Through this initiative, the organizers aim to encourage discipline, brotherhood, mutual respect, and a drug-free society.

The Dangal is exclusively reserved for wrestlers belonging to the Chenab Valley region. Pahalwans from the districts of Doda, Kishtwar, and Ramban are invited to participate in the competition and demonstrate their strength, skill, and sportsmanship.
